Local Montgomery County Restaurants Participating in Houston Restaurant Weeks 2020
Houston Restaurant Weeks is the largest for-charity dining event held simultaneously in hundreds of restaurants in the greater Houston area including Harris, Galveston, and Montgomery Counties. It is a 5 week-long dining extravaganza featuring specially priced lunches, brunches, and dinners at restaurants from The Woodlands to Galveston, Texas. This year, due to COVID-19, most restaurants will be offering their HRW special for to-go and delivery. Please call the restaurant you will be ordering from directly ahead of time to confirm they are offering delivery and to-go. Make sure to let the employee know when placing your order for to-go or making a reservation that you would like the HRW special menu so that a $1 will be donated to the Houston Area Food Bank.
When: August 1st 2020-September 7th, 2020 (Labor Day)
Participating restaurants will be making a $1 donation per meal for 2020. The Galveston County Food Bank and Montgomery County Food Bank are part of the Houston Food Bank’s Partner Distribution Organizations (PDOs). The Houston Food Bank provides food to these smaller food banks, which in turn distribute the food to hunger relief charities in a portion of HFB’s service area. As of 2019, HRW has raised over $14.5 million for the Houston Food Bank and surrounding areas.

About the Montgomery County Food Bank:
The Montgomery County Food Bank’s mission is to unite the community to fight hunger. Last year we were able to provide over 11 million nutritional meals through our vast network of over 70 partner pantries, local school districts, and community partners. We work in partnership with retailers and wholesalers to provide a solution for food waste by rescuing food that would otherwise go to the landfill. As a part of our green initiatives program, we operate an onsite Produce Rescue Center that allows us to distribute fresh fruits and vegetables which emphasizes the importance of sustainability and promote healthy food choices. Our vision of a community where everyone has access to sufficient, nutritious food is possible through the support of our volunteers and our community and corporate partners.
The Montgomery County Food Bank is a 501(c) (3) Non-Profit Organization with a four-star rating from Charity Navigator, member of the Texas Food Bank Network, a partner with the Houston Food Bank, and a certified member of Feeding America.
Please call or visit the web site of your chosen restaurant(s) to verify days of the week for meal service times for brunch, lunch, and dinner. Thank you.
