Businesses Host 2nd Annual Trick or Treat Historic Montgomery
Trick or Treat Historic Montgomery October 26, 2019, between 4:00 p.m. and 6:00 p.m.
Montgomery, TX— 10/08/2019 — Over 35 businesses in Historic Montgomery will be opening their doors for Trick or Treating on October 26, 2019, between 4:00 p.m. and 6:00 p.m. to costumed children accompanied by adults. The event started last year with the hopes of having a couple of hundred children enjoying a welcome to the Historic Montgomery district and turned out to host over 2000 people. Even with the larger than anticipated attendance, the children were able to trick or treat safely to all the businesses.
“I’ve heard from last year’s attendees that it was their favorite Halloween event they attended,” said Jennifer Skinner, owner of Montgomery Original Snoballs.
Besides passing out loads of candy, many of the businesses will be having additional activities for attendees. Dominion Pool Group will host the Photo Stop again this year which was a big hit for parents to capture the moment. K9 Kuts and Petz welcome costumed pets to come by for a treat too. Remax Distinction will be having a Pumpkin Carving Contest. Entries can be brought in to their office at 21012 Eva Street on October 26 and judging will be completed at the end of the Trick or Treating.
After Trick or Treat Historic Montgomery, attendees can stay for the Free Community Movie Night showing Hocus Pocus at the Community Center starting at 6:45 p.m. The event is hosted by the City of Montgomery and Sponsored by Fare Thee Well.
Maps will be available at participating businesses as well as on Facebook at the event page; Trick or Treat Historic Montgomery 2019.
